Critical Illness Insurance allows you to select either $15,000 or $30,000 as your benefit amount, and then you can use the money any way you want to help with the expenses resulting from a covered illness.
- This benefit is in addition to other insurance coverage you may have.
- Critical Illness benefits are paid directly to you, unless otherwise assigned, as a lump sum based on diagnosis or event.
- You do not have to be terminally ill to receive the benefit.
The Critical Illness Insurance plan will give you $50 when you receive a preventative Health Screening or certain diagnostic tests.
Who You Can Cover
You can cover yourself, your spouse or domestic partner, and/or your child(ren) without answering health questions.
- Your covered spouse or domestic partner can have coverage of 50% of your benefit.
- Children are automatically covered at 50% of your benefit at no additional cost.
- Additional and re-occurrence benefits are also included.
